Integrated Business Systems & Services Secures RFID Asset Tracking Licensing Agreement
COLUMBIA, SC - (BUSINESSWIRE) - December 15, 2004 - Integrated Business Systems and Services, Inc. (IBSS) (OTCBB:IBSS) today announced the expansion of its strategic relationship with USM Systems ( www.usmsys.com). IBSS is now the first authorized licensee of the USM Systems "Event Driven" patents which encompass the collection of data through the use of various media, including Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, when utilized for asset tracking, location, and management control solutions.
"Users of IBSS Synapse based tracking solutions will have the added value of being in compliance with USMS' process patents. IBSS can now bundle a USMS license for the automated processes that are implemented utilizing the IBSS-provided tracking solution," stated IBSS CEO Dr. George Mendenhall.
